Editor - 7 May 2020 - 0 comments

The Covid-19 health crisis has brought several limitations to the way we work, live, communicate and feel. In response, GEDS has launched a webinar series to address brands’ problems and questions during the pandemic with all these restrictions and changes due to the pandemic.

The webinar series focuses on:

  •   What is the new context of the online environment and work?
  •   What are the new avenues in this “new” domain for brands?
  •   How can design be instrumental in digital transformation?
  •   What are the best tools and frameworks for brands to innovate?
  •   What are the best tools and frameworks for brands to devise scenario building.

With this in mind, our first webinar was on designing online experiences. Ratnesh Singh, head of global business at Buzznation Event Technologies, shared his thoughts on technologies that can be used for online events. Leni Andronicos from GEDS Marketing shared her ideas on how brands have positioned themselves during the pandemic and what their key could strategies be. Gulay Ozkan shared 10 tips for designing online events. The webinar received great feedback.

Our second webinar was “Imagining the Post-Pandemic Era.” Our partner, Christine Miller Kelly, the founder of Superhuman-X and former managing director of design and innovation at Singularity University, contributed her insights on the future of work, health, education, and retail. Christine and Gulay discussed how design tools and frameworks help brands imagine the new era after Covid-19.
