SERVICE DESIGNER We are looking for a passionate, experienced and self-motivated service designer with a strong focus on design research. We are engaged in exciting projects, such as leading the design of a nanotechnology project that will take place in nine European countries.

Ideal candidates must be solid designers with a passion for design research and who want to grow in service design and the design management space. The role requires a strong entrepreneurial zeal with an awareness of intercultural working environment challenges and travel in Europe.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Working with multidisciplinary teams of designers, strategists, and engineers • Being the lead responsible of design projects, including planning, designing, and scheduling the deliverables • As a hands-on design expert, designing the end-to-end journey of a service using methods and tools that cover all details of service • Running qualitative and quantitative research studies, including planning, execution, analysis and synthesis, and communicating findings • Prototyping products and services quickly for rapid evaluation • Establishing and managing client relationships • Helping facilitate meetings and workshops with a visual perspective • Creating visual materials for projects including reports and presentations • Establish and manage client relationships QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum of 5-6 years of experience as a service designer, design researcher or design consultant, preferably in a design consulting environment

• In-depth knowledge and experience within a service design discipline • Expertise in a range of design research approaches, such as ethnographic research, and discussion group moderation • Experience with concepting, ideation, and iterative prototyping • Experience in workshop planning and facilitation skills • Interest and understanding of design-thinking principles • Excellent command of English. Turkish and other European languages are a big plus • Working or studying experience outside of home country is highly preferred • A postgraduate degree in design or business with an undergraduate degree in industrial design or anthropology is ideal • Willingness to work in a multidisciplinary and dynamic work environment • A detail-oriented and experience in managing details in large scale projects • Willingness to travel in Europe and therefore no impediment to travel • Strong language and documentation skills are a must • Flexible, proactive and optimistic approaches are a must
