Design Management Institute Night-Out Istanbul was hosted by GEDS on September 2012.
DMI, an organization based in Boston USA, organizes “Night-Out” events as a means for networking and experience-sharing among design professionals. DMI Night Out was organized for the first time in Istanbul with the theme “Designers and Engineers Meet.” Speakers from the fields of design and technology participated in the event and analyzed the relationship between entrepreneurship and design.
GEDS founder Gulay Ozkan`s design-oriented entrepreneurship concept “Courage to Create a Business,” which was awarded by Behance Network in their the99Percent Conference, was also introduced to the participants.
